I can't see 

What's written 

between the lines.  

I think I'd knew enough 

Then I realised 

These clues are fuzzy 

Or maybe 

Just maybe 

I'm not literate enough.

I was bred good. 

Talk good. 

Do good. 

Walk good. 

Then somehow, 

I wandered off, 

Got lost,  

Almost, astray. 

I ignored the light,

To take me home. 

As if I was freed. 

Almost thought, 

I can never be good. 

Can never do good. 

Can never walk good. 

Sometimes,  I thought,

I don't wanna be good.
